After you have sent your booking request, you are bound to your request for five working days. For calculation of time, the time zone of the supplier is authoritative.
The supplier will answer your request within the given period of time. The supplier can accept or deny your request. If your request is accepted, your contract with the supplier becomes effective. You will receive a booking confirmation and voucher via email.
III. Execution of the booked service
If the supplier sets conditions of participation for his products you are responsible to fulfill these conditions. The supplier is entitled to exclude you from a certain service, in case that you do not fulfill the conditions or if your participation puts you or others at risk, or otherwise interferes with the proper conduct of the activity. In these cases, there will be no refund.
You are responsible for timely arrival at the meeting point. If you are arriving from abroad, you are responsible for the necessary travel documents (passport, etc.), compliance with health regulations, etc.
The supplier reserves the right to make minor program changes, if deemed necessary due to unforeseeable or unpreventable circumstances.
If the supplier accepts your request, you will receive an invitation for payment. You have to pay within 48 hours. If the supplier declines your request, there’s no contract between you and the supplier and no payment will be asked.
V. Cancellation policy
You can cancel a booking at any time without giving any reasons. Whether this will be free of charge depends on the time of cancellation and the applicable cancelation policy. The supplier can choose to follow the standard cancellation policy or to apply a modified cancellation policy.You can find the applicable policy per product on shorebee.com
Standard cancellation policy
- If you cancel your booking up to 5 working days before the intended execution date of the booked service, the cancellation is free of charge. You will get a full refund.
- If you cancel your booking between 4 and 0 working days before the intended execution date of the booked service or if you don’t show up in time, you will be charged 100% of the price and you will not get a refund.
- In case you cannot show up because the cruise line changes the itinerary, the cruise ship is unable to dock or disembark passengers in a timely manner and the booking is cancelled, you will get a full refund.
Modified cancellation policy
The supplier is free to apply a modified cancellation policy per product. The cancellation policy can be changed at any time and is applicable on all new bookings. Already confirmed bookings will follow the policy which was applicable at the moment of confirmation. The modified cancellation policy will be displayed on shorebee.com. The modified cancellation policy overrules the standard cancellation policy, except in the case of cruise line itinerary change or inability to dock or disembark passengers in a timely matter.

The supplier may only cancel the contract if unforeseeable or unavoidable external circumstances make it impossible, significantly impede or compromise to carry out the service. The supplier is obliged to inform you immediately after the decision to cancel the contract was made. You will get a full refund. This is done under exclusion of any compensation for damages or other claims under what legal basis whatsoever.
Insurance is never included in the price. You are personally responsible for a sufficient insurance coverage. The extent of insurance need depends on the booked service.
VII. Messages, reviews and comments
After registration on shorebee.com, you will be able to give comments and display reviews.
It is not permitted to threaten, insult or annoy other members through use of language, frequency or size of messages.
It is prohibited to send unsolicited bulk (or "spam") messages. This includes, but is not limited to, commercial advertising messages, informal messages, political messages, swearing, racist remarks, profanity, sexual harassment, pornography, threats, disclosing private information from others, post messages on behalf of another, using hurtful or offensive names, advertise deliberately, ....
You are obliged to make only factual and truthful statements. Inaccurate, irrelevant, insulting comments etc. are to be omitted. ShoreBee is explicitly reserves the right to delete such reviews without giving further reasons.
ShoreBee has the right to exclude you to delete your account.

The targeted users are cruise passengers from all over the world. Shorebee.com is currently provided in Dutch and English. Other languages may be available in the future.
Visitors can consult information, product offers and local deals on popular cruise destinations. They can book third party cruise shore excursions/activities/products and services through the bookings engine on shorebee.com
ShoreBee is an intermediary between the website visitors and the local suppliers. ShoreBee is in no case a contracting party between the visitors and the suppliers. ShoreBee provides you with this booking platform, so that you can get in direct contact with the supplier of your choice and make a booking. The contract relating to the service booked is directly between you and the supplier of the service.
The supplier is liable according to applicable law. The liability is excluded to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Concerning times and deadlines regarding the relationship of customers and suppliers, the time zone of the supplier is authoritative.
The legal relations with ShoreBee are exclusively subject to Belgian Law. Ghent, Belgium is agreed as the exclusive venue of jurisdiction.
