Tram from Istanbul to Istanbul (city)
There runs a tram through Kemeralti C. and Meklisi Mebusan C., the main streets parallel along the cruise port. There is only 1 tram line in Istanbul, so you can't miss. Depending on where exactly you dock you can board the tram at the Findilkli, Tophane or Karakov tram stop. Take the tram in the direction of Bagolar.
Per trip, you need to buy a token at one of the machines near the tram stop. A token costs TL2 per person. The tram takes you across the Galata Bridge to Eminou (Egyptian Spice Bazaar), Sirkeci (train station) Gulhane (Topkapi Palace), Sultanahmet (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia) and Beyazit (Grand Bazaar).
You can also choose to book a tour in advance with one of our partners.
TIP: If you want to go shopping on the famous Taksim Square and Istiklal C., take the tram in the direction of Kabatas (terminal station). From there take the underground funicular for TL2 per person. It will bring you in 5 minutes to Taksim Square. This way you avoid a steep and difficult walk.
