If you go to Porto on a cruise, your cruise ship will dock in Leixoes Port which is located in the Matosinhos district, about 10 kilometers away from Porto city center.

In Leixoes Port there are two possible places for cruise ships to dock. It will depend on the size of your ship and the cruise traffic of the day. Most probably you will dock at the main cruise terminal at dock nr. 1 at the Avenida Dr. Antunes Guimaraes.

The alternative place for docking is a little more to the south, near Matosinhos Beach, close to the Avenida General Norton de Matos.

Both docking places are ok and are not so different in next steps to get to Porto city center.

From the cruise port of Leixoes it's easy to reach the city center of this nice port town in the heart of the Matosinhos district on foot. Close to the port area you can also find several transportation options by public transport to the center of Porto.
