What to do in Mdina
Visit Mdina during your cruise vacation
Mdina is located in the center of the island of Malta on a plateau of about 225 meters. The city is also called L-Imdina and borders to the city of Rabat.
The old town is completely walled and there are many buildings from the Middle Ages and Baroque. Mdina is the former capital, which was moved to Valletta from the 16th century.
At about 5 kilometers outside Mdina en Rabat you can find the Dingli Cliffs. From this highest point of Malta you have stunning views over the inland, the Mediterranean and some smaller islands.
