Shops in Venice are open Tuesday-Saturday from 9 a.m. till 7.30 p.m. Some shops are closed for lunch from 1.00 p.m. till 4 p.m. On Mondays, shops open in the afternoon (some food stores are closed Wednesday afternoons.) Souvenir shops are open every day, the entire day.
