Shopping in Palermo
The biggest shopping streets in Palermo are Via Ruggero Settimo, Via della Libertà, Via Principe di Belmonte, Via Roma and Via Maqueda.
You will find a lot of different shops for every taste and budget. Via Principe di Belmonte is a pedestrian street with lots of fashionable shops and cozy cafes. Via Roma and Via Maqueda are situated in the Old Town.
All the big designer names (D&G, Versace, Luis Vuitton) are found in the streets around Via della Libertà.
Palermo has the most colorful markets in the region. The biggest market in Palermo is La Vucciria. It is centered around Piazza San Domenico and spreads into the side streets. Italians display their local products: specialties, fruits, fish, drinks, spices, bread, meat, souvenirs, ceramic etc.

One more great market in Palermo is Mercato di Capo. It is situated around the area of Chiesa di Sant'Agostino. You will find a lot of clothing stalls, leather goods but also fruits, vegetables, meat etc. All are of good quality and not very expensieve.
