Subway from Haifa to Haifa (city)
Haifa has the only subway in Israel, the Carmelit. Actually it's an underground funicular, because of the hilly area in which the city is built. It's ideal to avoid a steep hike. The metro line is very short and only has 6 stops. Kikar Paris (Paris Square) metro station is the stop at walking distance from the cruise port.
Here you can view the city map of the metro. The metro runs frequently every 10 minutes. The trip from the harbor to the very top in the center only takes 7 minutes and costs NIS5, 50 per person (one way).
TIP: If you want to visit Baha'i shrine, you can get off at the stop Bnei Zion (Golomb Street).
