Lindos is also called "the white town". The picturesque city is built on a hill and is visible from afar.
Down the hill is a maze of cobbled streets, filled with shops and restaurants. Steep stairs lead you to the castle at the top and the remains of the Acropolis which symbolizes the confluence of cultures in antiquity. Lindos is about one hour drive from the capital Rhodes. If you have enough time, it's definitely worth a visit. You will need half a day.
