What to do in Le Havre
Visit Le Havre during your cruise vacation
Le Havre, on the right bank of the mouth of the river Seine on the English Channel, is worth a visit when you dock in the cruise port. It was designated UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005 due to the rebuilt of the centre in the modernist style by Auguste Perret after it was heavily bombed during World War II. Le Havre offers a selection of sights including the Abbey of Graville, Saint-Joseph Church, the Notre-Dame Cathedral and a local beach.
Shopping is great in Docks Vauban shopping center and Espace Coty shopping center (usually both bus stops from the cruise terminal shuttle bus) In general 2 or 3 hours in will be enough to visit Le Havre itself. Therefore it can be easily combined with a visit of Honfleur.
