What to do in Trogir

Visit Trogir during your cruise vacation

The historic center of Trogir, about 35 km from Split, is located on a small island between the mainland and the island of Ciovo. Because of its strategic location, the city was often besieged throughout history.

Today Trogir is the best-preserved Romanesque-Gothic complex in Europe. In 1997 the Medieval Town was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list. The city walls, mansions, Venetian towers and palaces make this city one of the richest cultural cities of Croatia.

Trogir has managed to preserve its authenticity by a strict policy. For example, neon lights and other modern disturbing elements are out of the question.
