The cruise port of Dubrovnik
Cruise ship pier location in Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik is a popular cruise port. There are 2 possibilities. Either you dock in the new Port Gruz, 1.5 km from the historical center and highlights, or your cruise ship anchores in the bay of Dubrovnik and you come ashore by tender boat.
Both options are quite ok. In the first case, you have the advantage that you don't need a tender boat. In the second case, you have the advantage that you come ashore in the old port, near the historic center. Where exactly you will dock is difficult to predict and depends on the traffic in port and the size of your cruise ship.
