It is a World Heritage City and a centre of world gastronomy. It's a very unique place. Bruges is mysteriously medieval and cultural, cosmopolitan and artistic. It's always beautiful, in the summertime as well as in the wintertime.

Your cruise shuttle to Bruges provides a two way shuttle service from your cruise ship to Bruges and back. The shuttles run every 30 minutes, so there is no delay in getting to Bruges and back to your cruise ship.

This shuttle service is the most easiest and cheapest way to get into the historic center of Bruges. It will drop you at the official bus parking of Bruges at Bargeplein.

At arrival of your cruiseship untill 12h30 there is (minimum) every 30 minutes a bus to Brugge. Depending on the departure of your cruise ship we have busses back from Bruges to Zeebrugge every 30 minutes. First bus: 4 hours before final cruise embarkation. Last bus back: 1 hour before final cruise embarkation.

Pick up
Once you arrived with your ship, you will see the  free red port shuttle. Just take this shuttle and relax, the bus driver will drive you to the gate.
When you arrived at the gate, just go the main road (50 meters) and follow the main road to the right.
Walk about 100 meters and you will mention our tent and busses. There you can exchange your voucher for your tickets.

Drop-off and pick-up zone
Our official stop is “Interparking”. This is situated at Bargeweg - Bruges. (official bus parking of Bruges)
From this point it is as little as a 5 minutes walk to the most picturesque entry of Bruges.

  •  This shuttle has limited capacity. So it might be wise to book sooner, rather than later!

Take note! We cannot influence the mooring quay of your ship. The primary cruise quay is “Zweedse kaai”, from which you find instructions to get to our pick up location.  If your mooring quay is any other than “Zweedse kaai”, please take the port shuttle towards the gate, and look for our flags, banners and tent in your immediate vicinity. Our personnel will guide you towards the pick-up location of, if need be, towards a shuttle that takes you to our pick up location.

Our shuttle service from Zeebrugge to Bruges starts from (local time) 08h30 am to 12h00 pm (= noon). There is at least one bus each 30 minutes leaving from Zeebrugge to Bruges.


Pick Up:

a.       Arriving with your cruise ship at Swedish quay? (= official, standard cruise quay)

By disembarking your cruise ship at Zeebrugge you will see the FREE Port Shuttle = busses in RED COLOR. Just take this shuttle and relax, the bus driver will drive you to the gate. When you arrive at the gate, just go to the main road and follow the main road to your right. Walk about 75 meters and you will mention our Cruise Express tent, our team and our busses. When you come back in the afternoon to Zeebrugge, the driver will drop you off by the gate, there you can take the FREE Port Shuttle back to your cruise ship.

b.       Where should I go when the Cruise Ship moors on another quay?
Take note! We cannot influence the mooring quay of your ship. The primary cruise quay is “Zweedse Kaai/Swedish Quay”, from which you find above the instructions to get to our pick-up location.

If your mooring quay is another than “Zweedse Kaai/Swedish Quay”, please do follow the next steps:

a. At your cruise ship there will be a free red Port Shuttle towards the gate. You have to join this.
b. When arriving at the gate please look around for our clear flags, banners, tent, friendly staff and busses. Our friendly staff will take care of you so you will be in Bruges at no time.


Return:

Shuttles leave Zeebrugge to Bruges every 30 minutes from 8:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. (= noon)
Return shuttles from Bruges to Zeebrugge:

·         First bus back from Bruges to Zeebrugge: 04 hours before final cruise embarkation.
·         Last bus back from Bruges to Zeebrugge: 01 hour before final cruise embarkation.

- 7:30: departure from Zeebrugge port, via the 'back-roads' to Damme

- 8:15 - 9:00: arrival in  Damme, short visit / city walk.

People of Damme are proud of their medieval city along the picturesque Damme canal located between historic Bruges and Knokke mundane to the North Sea beach. Vivenkapelle is the jewel of the Gothic city in Flanders. Also Jacob van Maerlant lived and worked in this beautiful town.

- 9:30 - 11:00: guided walk through the center of Bruges.

- 11:00 - 12:30: free time

- 13:00 back to Zeebrugge port
