The blue and white painted houses of Sidi Bou Said have been a source of inspiration for artists. This charming and picturesque town is situated in the northernmost part of Tunisia. It's named after an Islamic saint who ever lived and meditated there. Many pilgrims still visit his grave near the mosque.
There is a small marina where you have a beautiful view on the Mediterranean Sea.
Sidi Bou Said is not big and a visit only takes 1-2 hours. It's a good alternative to the busy Tunis.
