Visit the island of Capri during a Mediterranean cruise

Introduction

Since Roman antiquity, the island of Capri is popular because of its beauty and magnificent cliffs. It barely measures 10km2 and it is located in the Bay of Naples. The island has only two towns, Capri and Anacapri. The highest mountain, Monte Solare, is less than 600 meters high. From the top, which can be reached by cable car from Anacapri, you have a beautiful view of the surroundings.

The Grotto Azura, also called Blue Grotto, is one of the main tourist attractions on the island. Sunlight through a hole below the water reflects in the cave and creates a bright blue color, hence the name.

Capri is a much visited island and especially in summer, it can become very busy.
