After a 30 minute drive in the north direction, along the coast, you will reach the university town of Pisa, and you will be dropped off directly under the world famous Leaning Tower, in The Fields of Miracles, where you'll have the chance to admire also the main Cathedral, the Baptistery, The Camposanto and the old City Walls.

Leaving Pisa, after approximately 1 hour drive through the Tuscan countryside you will arrive in Florence where your visit will start from Michelangelo Square, a beautiful terrace overlooking the city center from where you can have the best view of Florence. This is also the place where you can see one of the two copies of the famous statue of David. Nearby you can also see the withe and green marble façade of the San Miniato al Monte church - one of the purest examples of the Florentine Romanesque style.

After leaving the church, we follow an uphill road, bordered by the ancient city walls, until we reach Forte Belvedere, built around 1590 by the Grand-Duke Ferdinand to protect the Medici Villas.

Driving down from the Fort, passing the old gate of Costa San Giorgio, you will arrive in Santa Croce Square to visit the Santa Croce church, where many famous Italians (Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli) are buried.

Next stop in the heart of Florence is the Piazza della Repubblica surrounded by historical literary cafés, where long ago important intellectuals gathered, the Piazza del Duomo (Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, the Baptistery, Giotto's Bell Tower) and the Piazza della Signoria (Old Palace, Loggia dei Lanzi.) and finally the elegant Ponte Vecchio, meaning "old bridge" which dates back to 1345, and today hosts elegant jewelry shops.

For the shopping lovers or the hungry soul, there are also many shops and “trattoria" to dive into, so everyone in your party can satisfy their desires whether it be a smart leather jacket, or a scrumptious plate of pasta. The arrival of the bus in PISA is 700 meters from Miracle Square, so named for its uniqueness and its artistic beauty,  declared a world heritage site by Unesco. In Miracle Square, you can admire the glorious Cathedral, the Baptistery and its bell tower, better known as the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

This Segway tour is a fun and eco-friendly way to discover the Renaissance streets of Pisa. On a self-balancing PT i2 you will visit Pisa's top attractions without any effort. You will see the Duomo, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, San Michel in Borgo and much more.

The tour starts at the parking lot of Via Pietrasantina, where you will meet your guide. The parking lot is located at about 500 m from Piazza dei Miracoli and 1,5 km from Pisa Centrale train station. If you are on a cruise to Pisa (Livorno), it's very easy to go from Livorno to Pisa by train or bus.

You start with a 30 minutes training session. A Segway is easy to use, and doesn't require any special abilities, but it's good to practice a little before setting off.

Your first stop is at Piazza dei Miracoli which you reach through an undergound walkway. It's the home of the Duomo and world famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. The marvelous square with its glorious architecture was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. It got its name by the Italan writer and poet Gabriele d'Annunzio.

You will follow the guide to Pisa's historic university (Scuola Normale di Pisa) at Piazza dei Cavalieri, while passing through Pisa's most celebrated Santa Maria district. You will glide along the Borgo Stretto for a stop at the wonderful white Church of San Michele in Borgo.

Before getting rewarded with some great views over the calm Arno River, you drift down on your unique vehicle to the Lungarno Mediceo, reaching the last bridge, Ponte della Vittoria, from where you can see a beautiful landscape of the Renaissance palaces reflecting in the river, than you'll visit the octagonal Church of Santo Sepolcro, passing through Piazza della Pera, the central Corso Italia and the Church of Santa Maria della Spina.

At the end of the tour you can admire the precious and noble buildings at Piazza Carrara and Pizza Dante where you can also get a glimpse of the university students life.
