Achilleon is the name of the palace on the island of Corfu that was built by the Austrian Empress Sisi. The palace was built in 1890 in the region of Gastouri, about 10 kilometers south of Kerkira.
Achilles, the Greek mythical figure was used as a central theme in the construction and design of this neoclassical palace. Empress Sisi mainly used it as a summer residence.
